On Friday, 17 September at 14h30 the learners of Grades 1 to 4 are invited to the Eros Primary School chess event under the auspices of the Namibian Chess Foundation (Reg. No WO 211), which will last until about 17h00. Participants are expected to wear their school uniform.

The entrance is free There are, however, attractive prizes which can be won: 1st: N$ 300, 2nd: N$ 200 and 3rd: N$ 100 plus 10 chess sets as random prizes.

The top players will be invited to take part in the Standard Bank Namibia Primary Schools Chess Championships on Saturday, 18 September.

Refreshments and snacks will be on sale.
