Windhoek Optics Ramblers are currently preparing in all earnest for the Premier League that will finally kick off on 9 October 2004.

The Smarties under 10 and under 12 teams both won silver medals at the Mini World Cup last Saturday. Britta Haensel was elected as the most va-luable player in the under 10 category.

Furthermore, the following players have been selected for the Namibia under 13 national team:

Claudia Öffner (9 years), Britta Haensel (10 years), Tatjana Coetzee (11 years) and Steffi Neustädt (12 years).

Congratulations to all of you!!

Ramblers played to 1:1 draw against SKW in an Old Boys league game last Wednesday night. Raymond Botes put Ramblers ahead after 15 minutes, but SKW equalised in the second half through a well taken header by Volker Ahrens. This was a tight, but fairly contested match.

Ramblers are still top of the log with one match remaining.

Preparations ure currently underway for the prestigious Horsti Pietzsch tournament that will be held in Cape Town from 8-9 October.

VIP CLUB

The weekly jackpot prize of N$ 800 was not claimed as Luigi Ballotti was not present when his number was drawn at 19H00.

The weekly jackpot for this Friday night is, therefore, N$ 900.
