What to expect at Windhoek Show Saturday 25th of September 2004 On the question on what to expect this year, the Windhoek Show Society has a clear answer. Here it is:: Well this year will be more exciting that the previous, by having our old and reliable exhibitor’s but quiet a few new and exciting exhibitors as well. Some of the points to look forward to at this year’s show would be: *We have again manage to have all of our motor exhibitor’s this year, from Windhoek Autohause through to the new company introduced this year MG / Rover. *We have loads of new exhibitors which the public can look forward to such as. *Holzhausen clocks – a business totally dedicated to clocks. Old, new, ancient, futureristic you name it they have it. *Namakwaland Wynkelders – for the wine experts, if you want a excellent wine made by our neighboring country South Africa, they are the people to look up at the Windhoek Show. *Mom’s, dad’s looking for an new way to decorate a room in your home? TLC Pro Dècor is just the place for you. *All the way from London, we introduce to you Genius UK and English exhibitor keen to introduce his products to the Namibian people. *E-med, we hear from them we seen them roaming the streets with their new TDI’s and now we can see them and talk to them at the Windhoek show. *Another of our new and I mean totally new exhibitor’s this year is Auto Gas. We all know the conventional car, well they are going to introduce the public to a new vehicle which runs on gas, yes you heard me right gas! *We also manage to get all of our Namibian banks at the show this year, such as Bank of Namibia, Bank Windhoek, First National Bank of Namibia to mention but a few. *For the first time in many years we have the German Embassy who booked a staggering 26 stalls for all the German exhibitors such as Siemens, Lufthansa, Wecke & Voigts ect. *Introducing for the first year ever we have a Crafts pavilion, with exhibitors from across Namibia here at the Windhoek show to exhibit their products. *Grahamtek Namibia is one of our exhibitors who has a product that can be used to extract salt from water. For those who are a little insane and up for a adrenalin rush we introduce the Bungee Rocket. *A metal ball is strapped to two bungee cords and then to two identical in height towers. The cords are then rolled up and with a pull of a lever you and a couple of friends are shot into the air at an acceleration speed of 0 – 100 km/h in 1 second! So to be a thorn in the side of everyone, come to the Windhoek show, starting from the 1 st of October to the 9th of October 2004. |
