Friday 28th of January 2005 WINDHOEK OPTICS RAMBLERS Windhoek Optics Ramblers beat Pupkewitz Unam 3:2 last Saturday in a first round match of the prestigious NFA Cup played in Mariental. Henrico Botes(2) and Hafeni Likeus did the honours for Ramblers. We will now meet African Stars in the second round on 26 February 2005 in Otjiwarongo. Last week’s results: Men First lost to DTS 2:5 with Zocks and Sean Penderis scoring for Ramblers. Ladies Second beat DTS 4:0 and the goalscorers for Ramblers were Des Räntsch, Tatjana Coetzee, Tania Frankle and Sonia Meyer. VIP CLUB Last Friday night the first major draw of 2005 was held. About 60 people enjoyed themselves at Ramblers. This week’s jackpot accordingly starts at N$ 100 again. The next big draw is on 12 March 2005 in conjunction with the farewell game of former Ramblers stalwarts Manuel Coelho, Carl-Heinz TW Steinfurth and Corky Horsthemke. This farewell game will be the first item on this year’s Ramblers 60th anniversary calendar and is certainly not to be missed!!
