Between the 05 and the 12 of March 2005, Dr. Helmer Vogel of the University of Würzburg will be available to NATH for further courses to help those, who want to qualify as trainers in the tourism industry and to qualify as certified NATH lecturers for NATH and other tourism and hospitality related courses.

These courses emphasize the teaching methodology in tourism and hospitality and their related subjects (not on subject-knowledge related matters). Planning and evaluating a training unit as well as presentation activities are only a few of the skills being thought.

Our aim to help all people involved in tourism to accomplish accreditation and better qualification is challenged by the lack of facilitators and lecturers for courses at all levels. In future, even more courses will be offered at Lodges, Hotels, Communities, Towns, campsites, shuttle services, …… throughout the country. Having qualified in-house trainer is an investment, which will be rewarded not only by the uplifting of staff quality but very probably also a financial benefit with regard to future NTA levies.

NATH therefore invites people to participate at these courses, who can fulfill at least one of the following:

·Active in the tourism industry,

·Experiences in lecturing tourism and/or hospitality or related topics

·Possesses a NATH badge

·Are responsible for human resource development in a tourism company

Prerequisites for this course are:

·The ability to speak und understand English

·A love of the country

·An understanding of the importance of striving for excellent service in the industry

A "NATH Trainer" certificate will be handed to all future lecturers who attend and pass the course test, as set out by Dr. Vogel in cooperation with NATH.
