Friday 28th of March 2003 SOCCER Windhoek Optics Ramblers came back with flying colours from Otjiwarongo last weekend having beaten Rangers 14:0 on Saturday and Space Ace 10:0 on Sunday to easily advance to the quarter final of the NFA Cup. We have been drawn against Civics for the quarter final that will be played on Saturday, 5 April in Tsumeb. This weekend we are back in Premier League action with two home games: Saturday, 29 March at 16H00: Windhoek Optics Ramblers vs Blue Waters Sunday, 30 March at 15H00: Windhoek Optics Ramblers vs Eleven Arrows Victor Helu and Chris Nauseb will be on national duty in Tchad and will be sorely missed! Good luck to all of you this weekend! SOCIAL SOCCER LEAGUE Our first league game will be played next Thursday, 3 April at 20H30 against SKW II on the SKW field. Good luck, guys!! TOP SCORE The Top Score 7-a-side final round will be played this Friday night. Come around to witness the super atmo-sphere! Our ladies will play Nampower at 20H00 and have qualified for the semi-final at 21H25 already. Good luck, girls! OLD BOYS Just a reminder that the draw for 2003 Germany Tour raffle will be held on Saturday night, 5 April 2003. Carla and Ingolf will provide the music and a super dinner will be provided. Juku Tjazuku and Christopher Hentzen were part of a Namibian Invitiational veteran side that beat Botswana 3:0 recently in a curtain raiser to the Cosafa qualifier. Juku scored one goal for Namibia, well done! VIP CLUB The weekly jackpot still stands at a whopping N$ 1000 as no draw was held last Friday night due to the public holiday.
