Saturday 26th of February 2005 On Friday, 25 February, a historic Graduation Ceremony will take place at the Gammams Trans-Namib Training Centre, when 49 guides and 10 trainers from around the country have met the standards required and will receive their certificates. They are the first graduates of the newly launched Level I and Level II National Guiding qualification. The Namibian Academy of Tourism and Hospitality initiated new courses to field test the new standards - and these initial courses have been successfully completed in Swakop-mund in January and in Windhoek over the past 3 weeks - an achievement which NATH and the successful candidates can be really proud of. For the well-known lecturers , well-known in their different fields of geology, fauna, flora, culture and history, it was an equally testing time, but „a job well done"! |
