The first leg of the 60th anniversary celebrations was held last Saturday at the Club.

The junior sides played to a 1:1 draw.

The derby between the active Old Boys sides of SKW and Ramblers proved to be an entertaining match. SKW were leading 2:0 at one stage after Lucky Kakuva and Rolf Beiter had scored. Ramblers came back strongly in the last fifteen minutes and managed to equalise thanks to well taken goals by Clemens Khaiseb and Juku Tjazuku.

Thereafter the former stars of Ramblers (all over 50 years of age) faced each other in another entertaining match. Bob Koudelka put his side ahead before Corky Horsthemke managed to equalise with a well taken header. So this match also ended in a draw.

The afterparty was enjoyed by everyone. A special word of thanks you to Hans Kühnle and his team for the superb grilled chicken as well as to the band "4u" who provided excellent music.

Ramblers Colts won their second consecutive league game when they beat Hellenic from Rehoboth 3:1 at home last Saturday. The goalscorers for Ramblers were Axel Duwe, Bernardine Mbilizi and Graham Reiss through a penalty.

HOCKEY In the women’s Premier League, defending champions Ramblers are the new logleaders after thrashing Wanderers 4:1 last week. Ramblers have now accumulated 15 points from six matches while DTS are second with 13 points from seven matches.

Other results are as follows:

Ladies First - beat DTS 4:0, beat Wanderers 7:0 and drew 1:1 also to Wanderers

Ladies Second - lost 2:3 to WOB

Men First - lost 2:4 to WOB
