The Namibian Academy for Tourism & Hospitality (NATH), announces the appointment of Ms. Emily Asino as Manager of the Academy with immediate effect.

Ms. Asino has been working at the Academy since mid 2002 and went through a typical full level in-house shadow internship training in this specific field of Guide education and Management. Her new career direction could be called "a dream come true". But actually it is "a proved asset" being rewarded with more responsibility.

She started off in the field of Tourism and Hospitality through a course at NATH, offered for beginners as stepping stone in a service related office environment. Her enthusiasm and quick learning abilities noted by her former trainer, NATH CEO Gabi Wheal, made it possible for her to start at the NATH office and begin her skills training as Tour Guide and her further training in office administration at NATH.

Emily Asino soon showed comfort in her new field of operations and efficient qualities regarding matters of customer relations. Since then most NATH students and friends know Emily as proficient, helpful and friendly person. Through her competence and her excellent skills, not only with people, but with all relevant course matters and booking efforts, Emily established herself as perfect candidate to fill this post, enabling the Board of Directors to bestow upon her this new challenge of responsibility and further involvement in Education for Tour Guides in Namibia.

We wish Ms. Asino a successful period as Manager and congratulate her to this appointment.

NATH CEO and former Manager, Mrs. Gabi Wheal will be directing her future efforts into more regulative matters with the new standards as well as relations between the tourism associations and partners to ensure that NATH will be the Academy for Tourism and Hospitality best known for good training and reliable outcomes as has been seen over the past years.
