Former DTA youth leader Joseph Kauandenge has rejoined the DTA on Wednesday after nearly 2 years in the Herero party Nudo. The Nudo leadership suspended him for 2 years from that party early last month. This seemed to have proved too much for Kauandenge and he negotiated with the DTA leadership to return to his old party. The young man has left the DTA once before a few years ago to start his own party, but that lasted only for a few months and he went bakc to the DTA. Known earlier on for his critical view of DTA president Karua’s leadership style, Kauandenge on Wednesday sang a different song. He praised Kaura as a man with a vision and mission, who stood his ground and did not waver.
