Cazadores - A superb InLine Hockey tournament

As was the case in previous years, the InLine fraternity enjoyed a wonderful weekend of suspense, drama and emotion. The InLine Hockey tournament, which was superbly organised by Cazadores, saw Coastal Pirates leaving with six out of the eight trophies in different age groups. Spectators will especially remember the match between Coastal Pirates and Cazadores in the Open division. Here, all Namibian national players were involved. Very soon after the start, Harald Keil (assisted by Lutz Feddersen) succeeded with a deflection shot, which left the national team‘s goalie Erik Rodenwoldt with no chance. Thus Cazadores was leading 1:0 and making good use of their "national line". But even very aggressive and offensive tactics did not pay off, since shortly before the final whistle the Cazadores defense was totally stranded and Basti Faber assisted Oliver Lohmeier to level the scores 1:1. The match could easily be called „the Super Match of the year" since it was definitely the fastest match throughout the 30 minutes, with action moving from one goal mouth to the other. Players had to adjust to exceptional high speed on the new flooring surface. It was fair. It was clean. It was exceptionally quick and full of action on both sides.. And it was evenly balanced, although the hosts Cazadores had slightly better chances in front of goal.
