The Swakop River Farmers Working Group and Rössing Uranium Ltd organised information meeting on the Swakop River Groundwater Project on Friday, 17 June for the press. It is a project carried out by the Swakop River farmers and Rössing and aimed to inform reporters about various initiatives between the Swakop River farmers and Rössing to conduct a full-scale study on the groundwater quality of the Swakop River. The route took the group along the Swakop River to Oranje Hoewe and then in the riverbed to Goanikontes East. PLUS will keep readers informed about the water quality and related projects of this important river.
