The National Inline Hockey World Championship is coming closer and there is still a small shortfall in the travel kitty. Therefore the players will be doing something special at the Da Vincis Club on 1 July. More details will be available soon. The Namibia nattional team still has two training camps in Windhoek before they depart on 5 July with LTU to Düsseldorf, where the team will be playing a practice game against the Düsseldorf Gladiators. After that game a dinner will be hosted by the Mayor of Düsseldorf, which will also be attended by the Namibian Ambassador to Germany, Mr. Hanno Rumpf. The team has also been invited to go on a sight-seeing tour of Düsseldorf, before they fly to Helsinki and travel to Kuopio (Finland) by bus. At the World Championship, Namibia will play Brasil, Taiwan and Japan and hope to reach the top 12 so that they are automatically qualified for the next World Championship. The team arrives back on 19 July and will be glad to give interviews to all that are interested.
