Sunday 17th of July 2005 Diamond Cutters get Certificates The dynamic diamond cutting and polishing company, Lev Leviev Diamonds (LLD) will hold a graduation ceremony for 200 of its 500 trainees. The company only opened some 15 months ago and the mostly female employees learnt for a year how to cut and polish diamonds. This is the first group of trainees and the first time such a large number of trainees in cutting and polishing of diamonds will ever graduate in Namibia and are guaranteed full time employment. The graduation ceremony is going to be held next week Friday and will be officiated by the Mines and Energy Minister Erkki Nghimtina. This week about 20 members of parliament visited LLD in the northern industrial area of Windhoek.
