TheWalvis Bay Municipality approved its Black Economic Empowerment Policy (BEE), which has became effective since 1 Sep-tember 2005. This includes procurement of goods from and tenders for buisness and companies that can prove a certain percentage of black owenrhsip. In order to sensitise the general public on this policy, a public meeting has been arranged. It will be held in the Kuisebmond Community Hall on Tuesday, 20 September at 18h00.
