Friday 23rd of September 2005 The N$ 800 million involved will make the Eliakim Namundjebo Plaza one of the biggest development projects in the country, as Pre-sident Pohamba said in hisspeech during the launch on Wednesday. There will be a hotel of 150 rooms, retail shops of 6 000 m 2 and offices; altogether seven buildings, where these days is only the parking lot near the Windhoek Municipality. The project has been in the pipeline for about 10 years. It will provide employment for more than 1500 Namibians in the next 3 years, as the Chairperson of theUnited Africa Group, Martha Namundjebo-Tilahun said.The launch was attended by the Founding President, Dr Sam Nujoma |
