Saturday 29th of October 2005 The ministry of trade and industry is travelling to Brazil next month to open up avenues of trade between Namibia and that country and to inaugurate the Namibia Trade Office in Sao Paulo. The ministry is inviting any Namibian companies and business enterprises that want to import from Brazil or export goods to Brazil to accompany Minister Immanuel Ngatjizeko from 22 to 25 November 2005. Companies should submit their names, corporate profiles ands specific areas of business interest to Ms Karape Katjivive at the ministry of trade and industry at 061-283-7365 or Ms Ruth Shiponga 283-7331/7295 as soon as possible and not later than 31 October. Forum on Violence against Women The female members of Parliament (MPs) will meet in Okahandja this weekend for a national consultative conference to discuss gender and violence, the AIDS pandemic, causes of violence against women and its effects on society, the role of men to curb violence in families and women empowerment. The forum is sponsored by the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) and organised by the secretariat of the National Assembly. |
