First half SKW had the game under control but could not turn their chances into goals .

Lucky Kakuva, Ralph Ellinger and Thiro Hendriks kept the SKW goal clean by an excellent performing.

Coach Starke had to change Henckert just before halftime due to illness. Pieter Himwilli came on as a substitute.

The teams went into the halftime break without scoring, when Starkes words hit the SKW change room like a thunder. Also he had to replace his best man of the first half Lucky Kakuva and this brought veteran Volker Ahrens into action. Ahrens had a brilliant game. After minutes into the 2nd half Ahrens took a free kick and found von Stryk who finished in superb manner. United Stars came back but could not stop the SKW counterattacks towards the end of the game when Marko van Wyk finished twice in style to seal the game. Other players who played well, were von Stryk, Kakuva, Ellinger, Ahrens and van Wyk Special mention must be made of Zidane Rondia and keeper Sven Wiedenroth who performed well in 40 degrees temperature.
