Kalahari Sands bigger and better Friday 4th of November 2005 The Kalahari Sands Hotel announced today its N$ 13,5 million refurbishment to give their guests the ultimate hospitality experience that Sun International is renowned for. They have stepped up their Group Welcome Procedures which now incorporates the following: Management and Guest Team welcome on arrival; depending on the season, Iced Tea and chilled refresher towels or Hot Chocolate with homemade Choc-chip cookies and warmed refresher cloths; Pre Registration thus allowing guests to go directly up to their rooms without any hassle. With being in a prime central location and being located in a shopping mall, the Kalahari Sands Hotel is here to assist with shopping excursions upon request, however shops are within easy access and with the upgrade of the Gustav Voigts Centre, we will soon be offering and even better shopping experience in this "World in One" mall. Their Casino refurbishment is now underway and on 10 October they will start with the Group Welcome Lounge. This is a unique facility aimed at making the Group Check-In an even more pleasant experience. Again guests will arrive in Inde-pendence Ave and disembark at a cordoned off parking area curbside. Here the Guest Services Team, Management and Porters will wel-come the group before being escorted through to the Welcome Lounge. Whilst luggage in being taken off the bus, the Security team will be in place to ensure the safety thereof. Once in the Welcome Lounge guests will again experience more of the Kalahari Sands welcome before accessing their rooms directly from the Welcome Lounge therefore not having to go up escalators nor through the Hotel reception. All in room amenities have recently been improved on throughout the Sun International Group and their in-room entertainment system is soon to be even further enhanced. The Wellness Centre development will be completed shortly after the Welcome Lounge. They will be able to offer 4 Treatment Rooms offering the latest in treatment technology and care, a Nail Bar and a Hydrotherapy Treatment Room. The Dunes Restaurant without question features the finest food at any meal period of any restaurant in Namibia. They recently upgraded their offering for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner through working with Internationally acclaimed Michelin Star Chef, Conrad Gallagher; this is further enhanced by personal yet unobtrusive service. 2006 will see an N$15 million soft refurbishment of all rooms, due to our expertise this will be carried out with minimal disruption to guests in house. The Kalahari Sands Hotel and Casino has proved, once again to be the Market Leaders in Namibia, by guaranteeing a warm and luxurious stay. |
