Saturday 19th of November 2005 It looks like the stoep of a stateley home, but this is the terrace and the garden of the Pandu Ondangwa Hotel, where visitors enjoy to sit in the evenings to enjoy a cool beer with a hearty meal. The 4-star hotel has 90 beds and previously ran under the Cresta franchise, but now belongs to Namibia’s United Africa Group of Haddis Tillahun and wife Martha Tillahun-Namundjebo. The food is very good and general manager Erroll McCullogh makes sure every guest is happy and content. McCullogh is also the guardian angel of stranded journalists and finds a solution for every problem. |
