Monday 23rd of January 2006 PREMIER LEAGUE Ramblers won their first round match in the MTC NFA Cup competition when they beat Mighty Gunners 3:0 in Tsumeb last Saturday. After a goalless first half two goals by Samson John and one by Tommy Kaimbi ensured a convincing victory for Ramblers. This weekend the Premier League resumes and Ramblers take on Black Africa this Friday night at 19H00 in the Sam Nujoma stadium in Katutura. Good luck guys! Next Friday night Ramblers take on Orlando Pirates also at 19H00 at the Sam Nujoma stadium. XMAS Cup The Ramblers Colts team coached by Jo Duwe had a very successful Xmas cup campaign when they lost 4:5 on penalties in the seni final against eventual tournament winners Blue Boys. The team consisted of 15 youngsters under the age of eighteen years and three Premier League players. This was an encouraging effort and the challenge for the future is to expose these youngsters to regular competition.
