The first Cabinet meeting of 2006 already took place on Tuesday this week after a 4-week recess. In his opening address, President Hifikepunye Pohamba said, 2006 was a year of commitment and implementation of goals set by his government last year. Job creation for the youth, rural development, economic growth and food security through agriculture were the main topics Pohamba emphasised.
