The Valco Pipes cc Chairman’s Rally will take place on 12 February. The first cars will leave at 11h00 from Valco Pipes cc (1-5 Simmentaler Str., Northern Industrial Area). The rally will take place in and around Windhoek on tarmac roads. It will end at the club house where lunch will be served. Average Speed required is up to 80km/h (for short mostly downhill sections only) The idea for this rally is to give the sponsors, media and friends of the Old Wheelers Club of Namibia an insight into our club activities. You may therefore compete in either the OWC Class. (Dated Car with driver and co-driver full members of the OWC) Or in the Touring Class (Sponsors, Media and Friends of the Old Wheelers) Participants are required to bring along: A roadworthy vehicle (The older the better) A trustworthy co-driver (intelligence could be of value) A working stopwatch A clipboard A pen/pencil A up to date street map of Windhoek
