REMIER LEAGUE

Ramblers played to a 2:2 draw against logleaders Civics last Friday night. In a thrilling match Ramblers striker John Samson scored the opening goal in the 13. minute with a superb strike after a 25m solo run.

Civics pulled one back through William Chilufya in the 25. minute after some confusion in the Ramblers defence. Captain Michael Pienaar put Ramblers ahead again in the 39. minute with a well taken goal after a corner kick. Ramblers had further clear chances before halftime to increase the score to 3:1 but to no avail. Civics equalised in the 55. minute with a well executed goal by Congo Ngatjizeko. With both teams wanting to win this game, Ramblers created more chances but the Civics goalkeeper was in brilliant form and eventually the game ended in a draw.

Unfortunately Ramblers drove to Otavi on Sunday for their match against Touch & Go only to find a waterlogged pitch and the game was subsequently cancelled.

This weekend we play in Windhoek as follows:

Saturday, 18H00: Ramblers vs Chief Santos

Sunday, 13H00: Ramblers vs Oshakati City

Both games will be played at the Sam Nujoma Stadium in Katutura. Good luck guys!!
