HAN is hosting its first Environmental Information Workshop for the accom-modation sector and tourism industry in general on Friday, 17 February 2006 at the Habitat Centre in Katutura. This topic is of utmost importance and timely.

The Namibian tourism industry is well aware, that the most important product and commodity at its disposal to sell this country as a unique tourism destination, is the untouched, unspoiled nature, in which the many different tourism havens and hotspots are situated in.

This unspoiled beauty needs to be protected, and the public in general, but the tourism industry in particular is called upon time and again, to do everything in their power to ensure the sustainable utilization of Namibia’s natural resources.
