As from 7 February 2006, District Road 2512 will temporarily be closed due to damage to the road by rain. The road will be closed for a section of 61 km from the junction M101 (C22) up to the Grootfontein district border. Regular inspections will be done on the condition of the road and it will be re-opened as soon as it is considered safe enough for use by the public.
