The German Embassy updated the information on the friendship visit of a German naval task group (including the frigate "Hamburg") to Walvis Bay. The vessels are expected to dock between 9h00 and 10h00 on Monday, 13 February and will be welcomed with song by the Swakopmund male choir.

The general public is invited to visit one of the vessels on 14 and 15 February between 15h00 and 18h00. Radio Kosmos will broadcast live from aboard ship on Wednesday from 6h00 till 8h00.

A friendly soccer match between a team of the crew and a selection from the Namibian Defence Force will start at 15h30 on Wednesday, 15 February at the Kuisebmond soccer stadium. The gates of the stadium will be opened at 14h00. Entrance is free.
