On Monday, 13 March is Commonwealth Day and each year the British Queen Elizabeth II, who heads the organisation of all Commonwealth countries (mainly former British colonies) distributes a message for that day. The ambassador for the United Kingdom, Alasdair McDermott (L), led the Commonwealth diplomates stationed in Namibia, who visited President Hifikepunye Pohamba (R) on Wednesday. They handed over a copy of the Queen’s 2006 message, which dealt with health issues this year.
