Sunday 19th of March 2006 Ramblers beat African Stars 2:1 in an NFA Cup second round match played at the Katutura stadium last Friday night. Tommy Kaimbi and Bernardin Mbilizi were on target for Ramblers. Well onde guys! Ramblers now faces Chief Santos in the quarter final to be played on 30 April in Oshakati. There will be no Premier League action this weekend. Michael Pienaar, Esau Tjiuoro, Victor Helu and Lazarus Kaimbi will, how-ever, be attending a training camp of the Brave Warriors in Oshakati. Maximilian Mbaeva, Diego Fransman and Lazarus Kaimbi have also been called up for the under 20 National team. The Premier League resumes on 25/26 March when we take on Blue Waters and Eleven Arrows in Windhoek OLD BOYS Ramblers Old Boys beat Ramblers Colts 2:1 in a friendly last Saturday. The Lufthansa Cargo Bulls will once again be our guests as from 23-27 March. An Old Boys tournament is planned for 25 March at Ramblers with DTS,SKW and SFC also partaking. The Old Boys league will kick off on Wednesday, 29 March. Ramblers Bassmasters From a low start in January our Ramblers Bass masters did well in the Competition on the 18 February at Oanob Dam. Congratulations to Herman Reinders who came first and Jürgen Geiger Second for the seniors. The junior, Danai Holst came first, well done. Our latest competition at von Bach Dam on the 11 March, the seniors Herman Reinders who came second and Evan van der Westhuizen who came third. Well done and congra-tulation to Evan for the heaviest Bass of 1,837kg. A huge surprise and congratulations to Britta Haensel our one and only Junior Lady who came first and also caught the heaviest Bass of 1,820kg. Well done Britta we are proud. All the best for our Bass masters at the next competition at Friedenau Dam on the 1 April.
