SADC decides on action plan until 2020

President Hifikepunye Pohamba opened a 2-day planning conference of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) with the donor community, which was held in Windhoek this week. Topics covered transport, infrastructure projects, energy supply, food security and HIV/AIDS. SADC envisages a free trade area by 2008 and a customs union by 2010. The photo shows Pres.
