German Ambassador Dr Wolfgang Massing invited the under-15 soccer team of Windhoek to his residence on Monday before the team flies this weekend to Berlin for a soccer tournament. The 18 boys were specially selected for the City of Windhoek team. The boys will spend one week in Berlin playing against teams from Tokyo, Peking, London, Paris, Moscow, Mexico City and Berlin in this mini "world cup". Windhoek is the only African city represented in Germany. Massing expressed the hope that some of the 18 youngsters might be in the national soccer team in 2010, when the World cup takes place in South Africa.
