PREMIER LEAGUE

Ramblers lost their vital clash against log-leaders Civics 0:2 last Saturday. Civics were awarded a penalty in the third minute, but Ramblers goalie Esau Tjiuoro pulled off two magnificent saves to prevenyt an early lead for the log-leaders.

In an evenly balanced and very tight game only a few chances were created by both teams. Civics got the lead in the 40th minute when Rudi Louw scored through a brilliantly executed long range free kick. Ramblers were awarded a penalty in the 55th minute to equalise, but Ole Khiba blasted the ball over the top.

Tamblers continued pushing forward thereafter, desperately searching for the equaliser and in one of the ensuing counter attacks Civics increased the score to 2:0 in the 75th minute.

On Sunday, Ramnlers easily beat Touch & Go 3:1. Bradley Wermann scored all three goals for Ramblers. Well done, Asprilla!
