Friday 28th of February 2003 The once mighty waterfalls at Ruacana on the Kunene River in northwestern Namibia can again be viewed in their full glory – thanks to very good rains in southern Angola. The largest falls in Namibia were virtually destroyed some thirty years ago when the Ruacana hydropower project was commissioned. Tourists recently returning form that area raved about the spectacular sight of the Ruacana Falls. |
