At the beginning of 2006 SKW Rhythmic Gymnastics and Tumbling changed the name to SKW Gymnastics Academy. This SKW section accom-modates 120 gymnasts, more than 80 of them in Rhythmic Gymnastics (RG). Main coaches are Angela Lepekha for RG with two assistants as well as Dimitri Lepekha for Tumbling. With their expertise the SKW Gymnastics Academy has developed tremendously

over the past two years. The top juniors of Rhythmic Gymnastics in Namibia belong to SKW and are currently preparing for the African Champion-ships in November 2006 in Cape Town. Anyone interested in gymnastics activities of SKW is welcome to witness the daily training sessions at the SKW Hall in Olympia between

2.00 and 7.00 p.m. or the SKW Club Competition on 24 June. At the Annual General Meeting on 31 May 2006 a new executive committee has been elected. It will manage and support the SKW Gymnastics Academy for the next two years. The committee consists of Rüdiger Reichstein (chair-man), Meagan Bierbach (secretary), Henry Ludwig (finances), Wietsa Snyman (coaching and judging), Monika Trossbach (events coordinator),

Ronelle Minders (special assignments) and Inke Stoldt (PRO and fundraising).
