The minister of fisheries and marine resources denied allegations in a local newspaper that he allegedly owned a shebeen. Setting the record straight in Parliament of Wednesday afternoon, Dr Abraham Iyambo said he never owned such a drinking place, nor intended to open one and he would take legal action against the newspaper, which is published by the TrustCo Group and appears twice a month. The said newspaper, which is distributed freely and even lies in the foyer of the National Assembly, published a story alleg-ing the fisheries minister was a shebeen owner.
