The Kalahari Sands CSI Committee recently donated bedding, towelling and crockery to the Lebensschule in Rehoboth. Community members who saw the need to start a school for disabled children in the region started the school. The school receives no government subsidies, but relies on donations and voluntary workers to help realise their dreams.

The hotel’s Marketing Manager, Tania Reid, handed over the donation to Kathy Humper, the Co-ordinator of the project. A few parents also came to share this momentous occasion.
