The Namibian team that travelled to Reunion, came home with a great second place! Although they had to ride on horses which were foreign to them, they were only beaten by an Invitation team, but left teams from Reunion, Madagascar, and Mauritius behind them. In fact, Namibia as a team had only a total of 20 mistakes to their names, while Madagascar ended on 60 points. Michelle Künzle was the overall winner in the dressage competition!

At the Auas View Horse Jumping and Dressage Tournament on 24 till 26 May Michelle was missing (because of her studies in Cape Town), but the other three riders did very well. As Sumari said: „We appreciate our own (good!) horses now, because in Reunion we did not have the easiest of horses to ride!"

The results of the Auas View Tournament:

Most successful children rider: Shared by Franmarie Lang on Erongo Wilderness Avanti and Attie Born-mann on Frechdachs.

Most successful junior rider:

Roné van Rooyen on Max

Most successful adult rider:

Sumarie Piepmeyer on Private Prince

Most successful dressage rider of the Show:

Bernt Meier on Charmeur
