Biggest Bank Windhoek Business Challenge Relay Saturday 22nd of July 2006 The eighth annual Bank Windhoek National Business Challenge Relay took place on Saturday, 15 and Sunday, 16 July 2006 at the UNAM Sports Grounds in Windhoek. More than 300 walking and running teams joined in the fun on Saturday while 90 cycling teams participated on the Sunday. The 2006 Bank Windhoek Businesses Challenge Relay was the biggest Bank Windhoek National Business Challenge since 1998 with almost 400 teams participating.
The overall winners in the running category were the Ramblers Runners of Ramblers with a time of 1 hour, 18 minutes and 54.92 seconds. In the walking category the Geka Walkers 7 of Geka Pharma walked away with the first position with a time of 2 hours, 31 minutes and 46.3 seconds, while ProWealth, with a time of 2 hours, 2 minutes and 38.67 seconds, took first place in the cycling category. Bank Windhoek strives to promote health and physical fitness to its staff as essential for a balanced lifestyle.
