Cabinet endorsed the reappointment of Mr Siegfried schneider to the Meat Board of Namibia to represent northern commercial producers on the Board for three years commencing on 2 August 2006. His first term on the Board expired on 1 August 2006.

The Namibia Agricultural Union nominated Mr Schneider to continue representing the interests of northern commercial producers to ensure continuity.

Mr Schneider holds a M Sc. Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cape Town and he has been farming since 1986.
