Cabinet approved the appointment of Mr. Philip N Shiimi to the Board of Directors of Agribank Namibia to replace Mr. Iipumbu Shiimi who resigned from the Board on 20 June 2006.

Mr. Philip N Shiimi is the Senior Manager: Financial Markets Department at the Bank of Namibia

Other Agribank Board Members are:

- Mr. Hans Gunther Stier, Chairperson;

-Ms. Wilburga Katamelo;

- Mr. Malachias V. Tjimune; and

- Mr. Desmond Tshikesho, the nominee of the Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Forestry.
