President Hifikepunye Pohamba has appointed the following Judges on recommendation of the Judicial Service Commission. Retired Chief Justice Strydom was appointed as Acting Judge at the Supreme Court from 6 September and he will remain in that position until 6 November 2007. Acting Judges to the High Court are Dr. C. Parker (6 September to 31 October 2006), Advocate Dave Smuts for the whole of November 2006, Mr G. Ndauendapo from 15 September until the end of November 2006, and Mr Liebenberg from 20 September until 30 November 2006
