ak. On Wednesday, 13 September 2006 the new Ambassador to Germany, Dr Peter Katjavivi handed over his credentials to the German Federal President Horst Köhler. The aim of Dr Peter Katjavivi in Germany is to strengthen and intensify the relations between Germany and Namibia, for example by developing city partnerships and partnerships between political regions in both countries. At the meeting in the Palace of Bellevue in Berlin Katjavivi also renewed an invitation by President Hifikepunye Pohamba to Horst Köhler for a reciprocal visit to Namibia.
