The Erongo Regional Council at its Ordinary Regional Council meeting held on the 5th May 2006 adopted the motion to hold an international investors conference in 2007.
A-Z Events Management Company, a division of the A-Z Investments Holdings has been awarded the contract and responsibility to manage, organize and plan the upcoming Erongo International Investors Conference for the year 2007.
The Aims and Objectives of the Conference are;
·To attract and promote  investment to the Erongo Region and other parts of Namibia
·To provide a platform for discourse on issues relating to investments and business development in the region
·To identify and explore investment opportunities in the Erongo region and elsewhere in the country to local and international investors
·To encourage local  and international stakeholders to increase investment in the region
·To contribute towards the further growth of the Namibian economy
·To exchange ideas and share investment experiences with other international stakeholders and partners
·To familiarize potential investors with the region and the country as a whole
The Governor of the Erongo Region Mr. Samuel Nuuyoma will officiate at the press conference which  is to take place Friday 8 December 2006 at the Erongo Regional Council Chambers in Swakopmund.
