Thursday 21st of December 2006 Buying a home is one of the biggest decisions we have to make in our lives. Fortunately you are not alone as assistance is at hand through a network of qualified estate agents and Namibian’s leading bank - FNB. back Estate agents are very important partners of First National Bank in ensuring that prospective home buyers are assisted professionally and correctly when acquiring a home. Estate agents and the bank service customers by ensuring that new home owners move into their first homes or second time buyer’s move up into their new homes without unnecessary hassles. As partners, FNB and estate agents give Namibians the opportunity to move into their own castles and FNB is once more keen to reward these efforts while creating excitement. FNB Home Loans has recently announced a new incentive campaign to acknowledge the important and hard work done by estate agents, agencies, and developers. The campaign theme “Make your Move” is an open invitation to all realtors to become “Movers and Shakers”. “We want to celebrate and reward performance. The “Make your Move” campaign encourages realtors to service their customers better and thereby move into higher categories of sales with a fun element,” according to Mr Thomas Slabbert, Head of FNB Home Loans Namibia. For this purpose FNB Home Loans has designed a funky magnetic board game with 80 pieces, each linked to a pre-determined value of sales. The estate agents, agencies and developers will collect these pieces as they assist customers who finance their new properties through FNB. The final result will be a full colour picture. “The better the service, the more they sell and the quicker they collect magnet pieces from our Home Loans Department to complete the full colour picture. It is fun, motivational and inviting,” Slabbert adds. FNB Home Loans, through its superior service and class leading products, remains the leading player with the highest market share amongst Namibian banks. As reflected in FNB latest Housing Index, released last week, the country’s new business mortgage lending totals N$1.89 billion for the year ended August 2006, bringing the total Namibian exposure to N$10.67 billion. “At the same time continuous efforts to reduce the arrears have resulted the lowest ever percentage.” according to Slabbert. Performers in “Make your Move” will be rewarded at the Interim Reward Function at the end of January 2007 where reward pieces will be handed out in recognition of sales up to the end of December 2006. Winning agents will also walk away with prize money up to N$ 10,000 for their efforts. The highlight of the campaign will be the “Movers & Shakers Rewards Function” next year end of July. At this campaign end function the winning estate agent will receive N$10,000 in cash and fully paid trips to the National Association of Realtors (NAR) Convention in Las Vegas. What is more, the winning agent and developer will also get N$10, 000 cash and join in on the NAR trip. FNB Namibia will pay all travel and accommodation costs associated with the incentive trip to the USA. For more information call Thomas Slabbert on (061) 299 7136. |
