Telecom Namibia on Friday, 19th January 2007, from midnight until 06h00 (early morning, the 20th January 2007), will carry out software upgrading work on the Walvisbay Exchange.
The upgrade work will affect all fixed-line telecommunication services in the Erongo region, whose area code number starts with 064xxxxxxxx. As such, all customers in the Erongo region will not be able to make or receive calls during this period of interruption.
Any complaints or problems that these customers might experience after the planned service interruption should be reported to our Customer Service Centre at 1155 / 1133.
We apologise for any inconvenience this interruption may cause to our customers. Be assured that customers will benefit from an upgraded telecommunications network.
