Potsdam, the Chamber of Craft in Germany and the Guild of Woodwork and Allied Trades and Industries of Namibia ( GWATIN) will present two machine courses from 19 Feb to 2 March 2007 in Windhoek.
The course will be presented at the Windhoek Vocational Training Centre with a lecturer from Potsdam. Courses will be offered on the following machines:
Formatkreissäge - Circularsaw
Tischfräse - Spindle /
Dübelmaschine - Dowelmachine / drill
Kantenschleifmaschine - Edge sander
Bandschleifmaschine - Beltfender
Bandsäge - „Band saag“
Abrichter - Surface planner
Dickte - Thickness plane
These courses will be presented for 2nd and 3rd year apprentices, instructors and members of the joinery industry interested in touching up their knowledge. Interested people can enroll for one of the following sessions: 19 February – 23 February 2007 and 26th February 2007 – 02nd March 2007. The cost per course per participant is N$1 800-00 (special fee for GWATIN Members) and exclude material, transport, lodging and meals. Participants will receive a list with the material to bring along. Booking is essential and payment need to done before the courses commence.
