V.I.P. DRAW
Our 4th V.I.P.Draw last Friday was well attended and a delicious meal of game steak and home-made „Spaetzle“ was enjoyed by everyone. The third prize was won by „Steini“ , the N$ 2.000 claimed by Gunni Hanke and the first prize of N$ 3.000 was won by Henning „Not again“ Tiemann. Through the grapevine it has been heard that Henning wants to invest in future only in the V.I.P. club as his return reflects a three-digit yield already. Thanks for ringing the bell, Henning!   Tonight Jackpot starts again at N$ 150 as Pieter Marius Snyman claimed last week’s jackpot of N$ 450.
PREMIER LEAGUE
Our first team collected maximum points against the coastal sides two weeks ago when we beat Eleven Arrows 2-1 (both goals scored by Bradley “Asprilla” Wermann) and Blue Waters 4-2 (two goals each by Gerry Keister and Tommy Kaimbi). While the match versus Eleven Arrows was not best to watch and we had to work for our victory, Sunday’s match against Blue Waters was Ramblers best match this season. Ouens, julle het kookwater sokker gespeel, dit was somer uit die boonste rakke. Well done to the coaching staff and the whole team. Ramblers is back on top of the league and this coming weekend we play Saturday versus Friends in Rehoboth and on Sunday it is the clash of Windhoek’s two best teams of the last couple of years when we meet Civics. Good luck to you! Please watch the press for the kick-off times and venues.

TOP SCORE 7-a SIDE
Our annual fundraiser for the Premier League side, the 7-a side Top Score will kick off tonight and will be played for the next eight weeks. The tarred parking area will be exclusively for “Members only”, but members have to show their membership card at the security check point. We thank you for your understanding.
PATRON SIGGI FREWER
We wish our patron and honorary life member Siggi Frewer a speedy recovery from his hig operation and we all  hope to see you soon at Ramblers again.
RAMBLERS NO.1 SUPPORTER
Our No.1 supporter of our Premier League side, the one and only Robbie Savage celebrated his 40th birthday on Wednesday in style in the lapa. The soccer section organised him a suprise party with full media coverage. Veels geluk, Robbie, en alles van die beste vir die volgende 40 jare.
Our next newsletter will be published on 16 February 2007.
