Cabinet approved the alienation of five developed properties in Church Street in Central Windhoek to the Motor Vehicle Accident Fund (MVAF) for an amount of N$3 million. Although valued at N4,03 million, the Ministry of Works, Transport and Communication recommended that the properties be sold at N$3 million as the MVAF would reregister the properties and consolidate them into a single unit.
The office space that the MVAF is currently renting in SWACO House in Independence Avenue has become impractical due to the high monthly rate and insufficient parking space. The five properties are erven 6432, 6433, 6434, 6435 and 6435.
