China appoints Permanent Representative to SADC

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of The People’s Republic of China, the Honourable Mr. Li Zhaoxing, has appointed a Permanent Representative of his country to deal with all matters related to SADC.
His Excellency, Mr. Ding Xiaowen, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of The People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Botswana, presented his credentials to SADC Executive Secretary, Dr. Tomaz Augusto Salomão here in Gaborone on April 17, 2007.
The appointment of the Permanent Representative of The People’s Republic of China to SADC aims at consolidating and enhancing friendly relations and cooperation between the People’s Republic of China and the Southern African Development Community (SADC).
SADC looks forward to a cooperative and mutually beneficial relationship with Mr. Ding Xiaowen.
