For the start of the Khomas Woman Football League the girls travelled to Rehoboth on Saturday, 21 June 2003.

To our disappointment we had to find out that our opponent, City Girls, had withdrawn their team from the league. The reasons for that were not known. That meant that the scheduled league

match was cancelled.

As we were in Rehoboth, we decided to play a friendly match and ended up with Civics as opponent. During a friendly match one would use the opportunity to build the team and find the best positions for players and the best formation.

Civics had other ideas and confronted us with a hard played match. This lead to unnecessary injuries and three players had to be replaced.

At the end the score was 2 :0 in favour of Civics. It looks like Civics will be our strongest rivals in the league but even they can be beaten.

We would like to thank the Rehoboth community for a well organised day and also to the many unexpected Ramblers supporters in Rehoboth.

Our next game is on 28 June in Osire against UNAM.
